"tranquil setting and hospitality I didn't think existed anymore"Ms Gow
These specialist bespoke retreats are held in the Annexe of The Farmhouse B&B at Kerivoa, 6km from Bourbriac, in Cotes d'Armor, Brittany. Kerivoa is a perfect location for inspiration, creativity and tranquility. The Farm is part of a historic site set in traditional rural countryside with it's own Menhir, Dolmen and Stream. With plenty of secret locations to hide yourself away for quiet contemplation or writing. A favourite writing spot is by the stream, nestled on a comfy chair amongst the massive boulders and the smell of flowers; with not a house to be seen, nor cars to be heard ~ just the sound of nature.
€65.00 per room per night -
no single room supplement
Hosted by Katherine Parris an established and experienced Creative Writing Tutor and motivator (testimonials) Member of SWWJ (The Society of Women Writers and Journalists), IBBY (International Book Board for Young People), NAWG (National Association of Writers Groups) and workshop leader at The Writers' Summer School, Swanwick.
Why not bring your dog with you?
The Writer's Retreats are bespoke to your own individual needs. Be it a place to lock yourself away to finish your writing, gain inspiration for your next project, or to just relax and recharge your batteries.
You will stay in the Annexe of the Farmhouse on a B&B basis, where in your double-bedroom (no single room occupancy charge) you can write at an antique writing desk. The room is set-up for writers with plenty of sockets, comfy chair, lots of working space and wi-fi. Or alternatively you might wish to write in your own private lounge at the vast dining table (again with wi-fi) or relax on the chaise lounge whilst contemplating your next chapter. Your lounge is furnished with TV with UK freeview satellite, DVD player with selection of dvd's, CD player and selection of CD's, small cuisinier where you can prepare your own lunch or evening meal. Alternatively, Table d'Hote is available by prior arrangement where you can enjoy a 3-course meal (BBQ in Summer) with wine, eaten with the family
"Anyone who writes, has written, wants to write or is suffering from white page angst should go there" Mr & Mrs Marsh.
